Some of you know(?) that in October 2005, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Today, she is doing well and is cancer-free!
This Mother's Day I'm going to walk to raise money for Y-Me, an organization that provides services and support to people who have/had cancer and to their families.
Please visit the site to learn more about the organization; and if your heart (and your pocketbook) allow, make a donation benefiting this awesome charity.
Thank you!

That is fabulous! And an amazing cause.

The walk sounds awesome! My great aunt is a two-time cancer survivor (the first time was breat cancer). This is such a great cause to support.

My ma had cancer when I was little--twice. Not breast though. It was tumors in her leg. But she's been cancer free for 20+ years now. Yeah for survivors!!!!! :) :) :)

Aimee!
This is awesome.
I am doing the 2 day walk in May with some friends in the memory of my friend Toni- Leigh who left this world this past November.
She did the 3day walks every year that she was in remission. But 60 miles ack! So I think she'd be happy with my 2day.
:)

My mom was diagnosed in August 2000, and has been cancer-free since November 2000. We usually do the Race for the Cure on Mother's Day here, but since my due date is the next day, I figure it's not a time to go strolling with 30,000 strangers and my mom...
Good luck! Enjoy the day!
